Elvis Presley

"The King of Rock and Roll", Elvis Presley is considered one of the most significant cultural icons of the 20th century. He became popular singing a style called rockabilly which combined country and rhythm and blues and eventually went on to win 3 Grammy Awards and sell over 600 albums. His first hit single "Heartbreak Hotel" is shown here and we love this video because he was clearly having vocal issues (swollen and phlegmy vocal cords) and had to use his charisma to cover as he started and stopped. It's a very raw performance and shows just what a true professional he was. You can check out his greatest hits here (sponsored link).
